Hello! This game is truly incredible, amazing work!
I am currently stuck trying to figure out how to lay the trap, I've sent out the morse code message but haven't been able to find the right place for the paint. Am I overlooking something? What can I do?
Hi Dervorguilla, thank you so much ;\\\; The paint is located on Floor one, in the upper right room next to the elevator, it's the one with the seismometer. Check the crack in the wall in the upper left corner and you will find the passage! Let me know if you need any help
Sorry- I should've phrased my question better, I was able to find the paint, I just can't figure out where to use it. Thank you so much for your help!!
Hi Mui! I'm glad you like the game so far >\\\< I made a screenshot of the stars you have to press and deselect here! https://sta.sh/01un1bm1lof5 Let me know if you need any help!
Hi Alex! Oh my, thank you >\\\\< I'm working on a new game (called Rule of Salt) it'll take a while but I hope you'll like it! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp!
This game is amazing, I enjoyed the story and the background of the characters, plus, the true ending is beautiful! You can see the love that Banya put into the game, I really recommend playing it.
Hello Shira_911, thank you for playing and commenting! I'm really happy that you liked and that the love I poured into the game (even with the morbid subject) showed! ;\\\\;
Hi Somethingsomething! Thank you so much for your kind words ;\\\\; I know there's a lot to improve, but I'm really glad that you find it high quality regardless! It means a lot! And I'm happy that it also sticked with you! Thank you again!
Yo, you have done well. This is a nice little game and I like pretty much everything. If you have future projects, I'll look forward to them. I already had fun with this one.
By the way, this game may or may not have made me start drawing using an art style similar to/inspired by this.
Hello Dome, thank you for playing Emerald Wasp! I'm glad that you have fun and you liked it! As for now I'm developing another rpg horror, "Rule of Salt", so stay tuned! I'd love to see the art btw, if you want to share it!
Hi Zz_boba! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp >w< Glad to hear you had fun and enjoyed even if you had to pass through three bad endings! I'm kind of curious to know which ones you got, were they on the final choice (last room)?
Hi Banya! I really loved your game, I can tell it's made with love and I adore the amount of details and secrets in it. I'm looking forward to more of your future projects!! :D
Hi Demone Laforeze! Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed uncovering the secrets, I had fun putting them in and I was waiting for players to look out for them eheh! And also the fact you said it shows it was made with love (regardless of the horror subject) means a lot ;\\\\; thank you!
Hello Banya! I'm currently playing your game!! I really, really like it so far. I'm just a huge scaredy cat who's too scared to try and find all the gemstones. ;w; I'll probably complete the game after dying 7 kajillion times!! TwT Also, I entered the hole in the wall after the star puzzle, heard the chase music, left, and then came back. Now every time I try to enter, it kills me. Do I need to play the beginning over again just to see what's in there? My save is already past my first time entering. :(
Hi Sam! And I'm really really really glad to hear that >\\\<
I'm sorry this happened, it's probably a bug I wasn't aware of ;__; today I don't have the PC with me but tomorrow I can send you my save file so you don't have to restart all over again!
Thank you for reporting the bug too so I can replicate it and fix it!
Hi Banya! I’ve really enjoyed playing the game so far; the setting, the little mechanics/puzzles, and the characters! I just run into a problem:
When I try interacting with the second red gemstone (“SMASH UP FOR YOUR LIFE” scene), the game freezes. I tried playing on both Mac and Windows but it still freezes. Is there anything I should do to fix it?
(BTW, I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask about issues so I’m sorry in advance)
Hi Mae! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad you liked it! At the moment I'm trying to replicate the problem so I can fix it, so I have a question: when the game froze did the music keep playing or it started buffering too? (Don't worry, it's the right place! If you need any help I'm here, sorry for the late reply ;w;)
I apologize for my even later reply! =+= There’s no music or sound effects in the part I’m at (I even blasted my volume to hear something–unless it’s a wind whooshing sound) I just can’t move or interact with anything
AHHHH I just finished playing! I’m literally in love with this storyline! The characters, the backstories, the references, the lore. I’m so surprised with myself for finishing this game and trying for multiple endings. Usually I just watch gameplays, but I got really hooked on this game and wanted to experience doing endings myself! I’m really happy I found this game and got to play it^^
Hi NV54! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp >w< Hearing that it was my game that had you try multiple endings for the first time makes me proud, I'm glad you liked it and enjoyed the lore behind it too! If I may ask, did you get all seven? Which one did you get first? Thank you again ;\\\;
Thank you and everyone who helped create Deep Inside and Emerald Wasp! I love that you take inspiration from your real life, it's so inspiring. The characters and places are so memorable. I also like that there is a connection between theme, environment and gameplay. I'm so glad I found your games!
Thank you for your kind words MefindAli, it means a lot! This is the kind of comment that gets me going as a dev ;w; I'm glad I can share some experience and unknown trivia about places this way too! I'm currently developing a new game, I hope it won't disappoint!
Hi Aerens! Thank you so much for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad to hear that you liked it >\\\\< I'm so relieved to hear that the plotlines connect well ahah! The protagonists full names are Leonid Romanovič Voronin (Leon) and Archimede Casarosa (Archie); Irena doesn't have a surname, while I never disclosed Béla's so far
great game and i really like the art! stopped at the arson ending bc ngl despite the torture description, bela's fingers looked too delectable 😳 it would be nice if there were more than 20 credits so you don't need to get all of them to access the bonus room (as someone who only found 19...)
Hi Silverwater! I apologize for the late reply ;w; thank you so much for playing my game >\\\< I didn't expect that effect on that scene, I have to admit ahah! As for the medals: unfortunately if I add more and the player collects more than 20 the end credits crash, but if you need help I have the list with all the locations so you can backtrack to the one you missed. (They're all in accessible floors, not in rooms that get closed after an event)
Amazing game! Great atmosphere and has a lot of different endings. I love it! I also thinkthe secret little easter eggs hidden in the game are super fun, although I'm super frustrated with the wallwriting/blackboard note rn hahaha
Hi ArAr! Thank you so much for your kind words ;\\\\; (I apologize for the late reply, it got lost in the feed) You probably had already solved it by now, but many players got stuck on that one... it's not a URL though, you have to decipher it first (same means as the one in the bonus room)
Hi Dancingdarling! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad that you liked it! I'm planning to do a steam release once the CGs will be all replaced, which I'm in the process of! Keep an eye on the updates >w<
Hello! I love the game and I must say that the using the first human voice ever recorded is a very genius idea! It sounds like the drone of wasps and it's old enough. Also it fits the phenomenon of this work...
You are so good at shaping weird characters who do not fit in . I love your style.
Hi Nixluna! I apologize for the late reply ;__; I wanted to thank you both for playing Emerald Wasp and for leaving your comment, it made me really happy... I couldn't put a finger on it, but weird characters who do not fit in is the perfect description for them and knowing that somehow I make them work is so cool! Thank you again ;\\\\;
Hello and thank you for playing >\\\< Unfortunately I'm aware about that bug but I'm not able to fix it atm, I'm sorry for the inconvenience! As for the lenght did you find the secrets...? There are... things... hidden in the game, I can give you a hint! Last week was the game first anniversary and I made a riddle special video for it:
i really liked this game but sometimes when i used the flashlight it kinda fucked up me moving around and also near the end when i would try to go back down the stairs or a ladder the screen would go black and i would have no choice but to just go up but its still a very good game and i will be playing the other ones you put out
Hi Miles! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad you liked it! I'm also sorry that you encountered those problems ;__; unfortunately I still can't fix the first one, I know how to but my computer crashes when I try... as for the other one, you mean the ladders of the hidden tunnels right? So I can check the code (those ones require you to use the flashlight, but they shouldn't lock you in one direction so this is to fix)
Besides the mechanics themselves, I like how many resources there are at our disposal (walkthroughs, multiple translations, trigger/content warnings...) It's clear you care about the players a lot!!
Now, regarding the game: I adored every second of it. The setting, the lore, the OST, the character design, the art, the endings... (even the bad ones, LOL)
My my >\\\< I'm so happy to read you liked it so much! Hello Dev, thank you for playing Emerald Wasp and for writing this message! Glad to hear that you liked the bad endings to ahah! Did you get to the secrets of the game too? Again, thank you so much for your kind words!
Hello, I enjoyed the game, even if it was a bit clunky at times, it was fun and interesting, good job! I noticed in your development log that you're looking for a Spanish translator, is the offer still up? I'd like to help with a Spanish translation.
Hi HermeticsPontified! I apologize for the late response! I'm really glad to hear that you liked the game ;\\\; the mechanics are not aging well I see, I still have to find a way to fix them unfortunately. Thank you for offering ;\\\; at the moment there's a person doing the translation already, but could I keep contact with you if needed?
Sure! Do you have a Discord? I can send you a friend request on there so we can keep in touch if you need any help with translation. Thank you, and have a good day!
Hi Hermetics! I apologize, I missed this message ;__; my discord is [edit] although I don't need the translation I'd like to stay in touch! And since you offered to help me, if you need help from me for something let me know!
Hello! Sorry for the late reply as well. It seems the both of us are late to answer. I sent you an invite, you can edit the comment now. Thank you very much!
HIII, BANYA. I WANTED TO COME HERE AND TALK ABOUT A FEW THINGS. FIRST OF ALL, ABOUT HOW AMAZING YOUR WORKS ARE! I really appreciate you creativity and brilliant mind, and I am always up to know what will come next out of that genius ideas of you. I GOT SO OBSESSED OVER YOUR PLOTS AND CHARACTERS, BECAUSE THEY'RE SIMPLY UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT FROM EVERYTHING THAT I'VE EVER SEEN BEFORE! YOU'RE AMAZING. AND I HOPE THAT MORE PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO SEE THAT AS MUCH AS I DO. ☝💗
YOU ARE REALLY ON MY TOP 3 FAVOURITE GAME DEVELOPERS, and that's why I wanted to know as well, are you open to help people who are just starting to develop rpg maker/visual novel games? me and my partner are making our first horror rpg maker game, and we would appreciate so much if you could guide us a little, since we lack a bit of experience, IT WOULD BE AN HONOR TO HAVE YOUR CONSIDERATIONS AND TIPS!
I LOVE YOU, BANYA, THANKS AGAIN FOR THE AMAZING GAMES. <3
Hi Notleander! I wish I could convey in English how surprised and honored I am to read your message ;\\\\; I'm flattered, really! And I'm so happy to hear that you liked the game so much, and that I'm one of your favorite devs! This is something that, to an indiedev like me, still look incredible to read and it made my day ;\\\\; Thank you so much for your kind words! And yes, of course I'm open to that, I'll write you on Twitter and do the best I can to help!
awww, it's just the truth, really! I had been playing your games for a while and I fell in love with the originality of each plot you created, the stories in general are so well written and it makes me crave for more, YOU ARE INCREDIBLE! YOU NEED TO BE EVEN MORE RECOGNIZED, I developed affection towards your characters and I just dedicated my whole day some time ago playing all of the endings from the games and etc! I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I SAW THAT YOU REPLIED AHSHAHEBQHAH so that's the sensation a fan has when their idol actually responds -* _ *-
WE WILL BE HONORED TO HAVE YOUR HELP! my partner answered to you there, right? as soon as possible we'll be all talking about the project together, I am soooo happy to know that you are willing to guide us, you're simply the best!
Oh my, thank you again >\\\< but I definetly shouldn't be on a pedestal, I'm flattered really but I'm a normal person ahah! I hope I won't disappoint with next games then!
Dude, I played this game on stream as a replacement for a game that wouldn't start, thinking: "Ah! I don't think it will be anything too serius, just to play something" and now I'm just streaming/playing this. it has definitely become one of my favorite games.
Congratulations, you have created a truly beautiful game.
(sorry for any grammatical errors, English is not my main language)
Ciao Bomber Pigeon!
Ok so before I got to play this game, I actually thought Bela was a girl. Reasons:
1- I don't know he kinda looks girly.
2- Bela is a girly name.
3- So what do we know about bees and wasps, Queen bees are female but Bela is under control of the queen not is the queen. He/She can't be a worker cause they are only used for reproductive work and THAT IS DEFINTALY NOT BELA'S JOB. So He/She can only be a worker bee.
The thing is. Worker Bees are only female. So Bela can only be a female right? So yeah and then I watched EpyksLion's playthrough and yeah. Bela is a boy.
ok yep I was right ( I think) but OMG the true ending almost made me cry. You know what? I did cry. So wholesome.... I loved this game alot and even though I just watched another person play it it was still so heartbreaking and beutiffual at once.(Sorry for misspellings)
Hi La1n370wo! I admit that's an interesting take, I don't mind it! Epyks made a very cool video, I liked it a lot. Here are some clarifications to your questions:
Béla (read Beela) is a Hungarian male name, meanwhile wasps have different structures depending on the species. Just for him I used the role of the Emerald Wasp, which is an antisocial wasp (no hive, no workers, etc). Parasitic wasps, when parasiting other wasps, can alter their host function from worker to queen, usually to infiltrate hives and take over. Béla is basically an exception in that hive, loyal only to queen but having none of the social roles of the other 'wasps'.
I hope it helped! And if you play the game I hope you will enjoy it x3
No need to say sorry, it's ok! And I'm glad it helped >\\\< I'd love to hear your theories, please share them! As for Rule of Salt I started development just recently so it will take time, I hope not as much as Emerald Wasp but I share the progress on Twitter and Bluesky
ok. i was reading some Deep Inside comments since some time ago i played the game and it came to my mind only now to rate it.. After scrolling for a while i discover AFTER A YEAR that YOU WERE THE ONE WHO MADE THIS????? I LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH, it was actually ONE OF THE BEST GAMES i played in a BIG WHILE. you cant imagine how happy i am. im also italian SO I LOVED ARCHIE'S CHARACTER SM.
I'm enjoying this game so far! Leon and Archie's dynamics and conversations in the Hideout are fun.
Only problem is I keep getting an error. In the Honeycomb room confrontation scene I pick the [Question Him] option during the 3 sec countdown. Afterwards, we get sent to the Hideout. BUT if I leave the Hideout, I get a black screen that says: TypeError Cannot read properly 'resolution' of undefined
Hi Chimera! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad yo hear you're liking it so far >\\\< About the black screen: are you playing it on Mac, right? In that case, are you using the Mac version or the PC version on Wine? (I'm searching for a solution for the error)
I'm sorry for the inconvenience ;__; Did a bit of research, it's apparently due to a save file malfunctioning. What happens if you load a previous one and go through the scene? If it doesn't work please tell me which choices you did \ how many medals you have, so I can make a savefile past that scene and send it to you... I'm sorry, it's the first time ever that this particular error occurs ;w;
Such a good game, absolutely loved it! After playing Deep inside i wanted to check your other games, and i fell in love with Emerald Wasp. Loved the puzzles, the exploration and the characters, Archie being italian is my fav thing lol. Also the lore was a bit confusing, I only understood like a quarter of it, must be cause I have a very low attention span tbh but i got lost in a lot of points :'), guess I'll watch a complete gameplay or wait for someone to do an explanation video on yt lmao.
I heard you're working on a new game, can't wait to play it!! ^^
Hello Graz, and thank you ;\\\\; This is like a Xmas gift to me, I'm so happy that you liked it! Just out of curiosity, may I ask why Archie being Italian was your favorite part? As for the lore there's a video explaining it in Brazilian Portuguese, but I don't know if there's a subbed version of it. If an ENG channel covered it that would be awesome too, but the game is not that well-known so I'm not sure it'll happen... but if I find one I'll reply with the link in this comment! This is the PT-BR one:
Hello! Sorry for the late response, didn't see the notification ^^'' As for your question: I don't know actually, guess it's because I'm italian too and I really loved Archie's character in general, so maybe it added something more, a bit of comfort maybe? It's like seeing a characteristic of yours being represented. Same thing with Leon being ace!
Thanks for the info! I'll see if I can translate the video! :)
Anche tu? Ora capisco perché! Ma mi fa davvero piacere questo, anche per il discorso ace ;\\\\; Penso non avrai problemi allora, il portoghese per noi è facile da capire! Fammi sapere!
This was such a fun game. I loved the overall story and the mystery of the underground bunker. I think I missed this part while playing the game but why were people turned into wasps and for what purpose was it for?
Hi Moonlqaw! This was such a nice surprise, thank you for making a letsplay of Emerald Wasp! They weren't turned into wasps per se, except for Béla they were normal humans but with a society shaped on the wasp ones, Irena wasn't the first queen so at least three generations occurred underground. The purpose was to create a society full devoted to a cause (and a queen) for military purpose. Béla is the exception, they used the parasyte to speed up the process instead of brainwashing people for years. I'm happy to hear that you liked the game btw ;\\\; thank you for playing it! I'll go watch the video asap!
Such a fun game! I loved the art, storyline and characters. Some things were a little confusing at times, so I had to use the walkthrough sometimes haha. But I love these types of games! The lockpicking mechanic was especially fun.
I felt like I understood most of the lore and mechanics, but one thing I can't figure out no matter how much I think about it, is the hand gestures/sign language(?) that Béla did in the hive room after he scratched at his eye. I'm not sure if I may have missed the explanation for it somewhere, or if it was something I needed to figure out? Was the eye scratch and hand gesture supposed to be Béla trying to go against Bélzebuub and communicate with us?
Other than that, I enjoyed the game, and I look forward to what other things you put out! :D
Hi Kaye! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp and leaving a comment ;\\\; I'm really happy to hear that you liked it! About the hand gesture, it's the ASL for "Escape \ Run", I wanted to make the full version of "Run away from me" but I couldn't animate it well so I resorted to simply "RUN". He scratched the eye because it's the one were the parasyte resides as you guessed it was to go against Bélzebuub and communicate. There are other instances he tries to communicate by gestures in the game, albeit very little because I'm not good at animating ahah! Thank you for your kind words btw ;\\\; I started developing a new game, it'll take a while but I hope you'll like that one too!
Hello, a question: the song that Bela sings to Leon when he is a baby and that he mentions that the queen always hears, what is his name?
O And although it's already late (you found out the hard way), I want you to know that on most platforms, games classified as +18 are because they have sex scenes, few platforms include gore (amputations, suicides, murders, among others). others) in the +18 section, so next time check if there is similar content in the +18 section to avoid what happens to you... what happened to you in the +18 section here.
And about the armor error of equipping the gun, I think that in response to that error or accident you can make an rpg-type spinoff that is about Leon and Archie's nightmares that they would have about that place, it is just a suggestion, although the idea is came to mind when I read about that error, I immediately imagined sprites of Leon and Archie looking in fear at Bela while RPG music (final fantasy) plays and the characters' action bar fills up to be able to attack
The song is a French lullaby called "Au claire de la lune", but the specific record of it in the Queen's chamber is the first human voice ever recorded: Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville singing "Au claire de la lune" in 9 April 1860. The sound is almost unrecognizable but once you hear the lullaby you'll understand!
As for the r18 rating... yeah ;__; it took me several questions about Béla's stinger to realize something was wrong lol. On other sites it allowed me to put at least 15+ as a rating but itchio didn't. The armor error is solved but I really like your idea! Maybe in a bonus \ spin off? It would be very fun!
Hello, Merry Christmas, I'm glad you liked my suggestion for a spinoff of the game. I Have a question, do you plan to make Emerald Wasp playable on Android? I ask because I loved the game and I would like to be able to play it on my phone, since unlike a computer or laptop, I always carry my phone with me everywhere.
Merry Christmas to you too, Hikaru! I hope you will spend nice hokidays! As for Android I haven't made a port yet but there's the emulator JoiPlay that can support most RPG maker games. Some textures might not load but it should work, let me know! I'm flattered that you want to replay it again and bring it with you ;\\\\; thank you!
I loved the story and the way that you incorporated wasps as a plot-point was very interesting. (I also greatly enjoyed learning a little bit more about wasps from the books in the library!)
The art was gorgeous and the character designs were amazing. The character personalities were also wonderful! (I adored Archie. He made me laugh. But Béla's design was the coolest. Especially his one compound eye, I adore monstrous appearances!)
The horror aspects were delightful, too. It was all so gross and weird, and I loved it! I even enjoyed the puzzles, even if it took a while for me to solve them.
I think the only thing that gave me trouble was the walking. The characters would stop sometimes or go further than I wanted, but it wasn't too bad.
You really did a great job, and I'll definitely have to try your other RPG Maker horror game at some point!
Hello Cryptid! I gasped when I saw the comment and I just finished watching the video ;\\\\; First of all, I wanted to thank you for playing and recording the game, I enjoyed watching you play it a lot! And also I wish I had more mastery of the English language to convey emotion more than a simple thank you, but I watched it all and all the enthusiasm, the reactions and the kind words mean a lot to me! I'm really glad that you liked the game so much and it makes me happy to see that you were so invested ;\\\\; (And in this case... even though it's unsettling stuff, there are some things you missed I can hint you in DMs if you want to) Dev-wise I can say I feel understood in the little choices and directions I made for the game, even though there are needed fixes (the BRIDGE)! And yes, I will be making another long RPG maker horror, but I'm at the early stages still, stay tuned! Again, thank you so much! ;\\\\;
PS if you want you can rate the game, it'd help with visibility!
Aaah! Thank you for watching ;-; It really was an incredibly fun game!
Your kind words mean a lot to me. I'm actually having trouble finding words of my own because I'm very happy you liked my play-through ❤
(And I would love to know about the stuff I missed! You can definitely DM me about it, I'd appreciate it greatly!)
You really did a great job with Emerald Wasp. Even if there do need to be a few little fixes, it was overall an excellent game (that I will probably play again purely for fun at some point!) I'm so excited for your next project, too! I bet it's going to be awesome! ^-^
(Edit: I left a rating! Although I wasn't sure if I should leave a comment over on the Feedback Quest section, since I'm not technically a part of it.
I didn't see an option to leave a regular rating outside of Feedback Quest, though. But I will also leave one if that becomes available on here!
I loved the game, the story is very creative, the characters are very captivating, I spent the whole afternoon playing and looking forward to the end! I am very happy to be able to enjoy a translation from PT-BR. I strongly hope that the game can become more popular, as it certainly deserves it, congratulations Banya! ^^)/
Hello Kanna and thank you for playing Emerald Wasp! Your comment made me really happy, thank you for your kind words ;\\\\; I'm glad you had fun playing it! The game is still very niche but I hope the same, so that more people can see it and play >\\\<
just ended the game THANK YOU SM FOR TRANSLATING THIS GAME TO PORTUGUESE
banya-san i hope you go straight to heaven for making those games for free,,, brasil loves you!!
o jogo foi muito uma nova experiencia pra mim, atingi 3 finais diferentes antes do verdadeiro fiquei realmente com medo, parabéns vou lembrar desse jogo por muito tempo.
Hi Cherynuma! First of all, thank you so much for playing Emerald Wasp! Your comment and your kind words put a smile on my face, I'm so happy that you liked it! For the translation you don't have to thank me though, it's thank to Ashiri we have the PT-BR version... I love Brasil too and this is so good to hear T\\\T If you want to you can rate the game too, it'd help to make it more visible for other players too!
I'm here to report that I played it and I enjoyed it 🫡
It was a great game! I had fun exploring the map, reading the documents, and figuring out the puzzles. The way you incorporated the whole 'wasp' theme was very cool and I enjoyed the story (I used to be super into WW2, so that was an added flavor ^^) (oh, and I liked the boys' conversations, too! very cute and wholesome 🤭)
I somehow got to the true ending (after dying way too many times haha) and the flashbacks made me a little teary. 🥲 I won't go into spoilers, but blind devotion is one of my fave tropes and if it's mixed with a tragic fate, that's even better. I think the characters' stories are going to stay with me for a while. 🥲
As a side note, I'm in love with the art, it's so good??? Both the designs and the art style are so striking and full of character, just delightful 💕. (i especially love Béla's design, it makes me go a little feral because i love uniforms 🫠💕)
Also! I loved reading about all the references at the end of the game! It was super interesting and I'm impressed with how much thought you've put into the characters' names and the setting. ^^ (and judging by the walkthrough, there's still a chunk of stuff I haven't seen) It definitely made the search for medals worth the effort. 👌
Hi Hiro! I didn't expect this and it was such a nice surprise ;\\\\; I apologize for the late reply, but it took me a while to compose myself again aha! Your comment made me very happy and it came at the right moment too, it made my day for real.
I wish I had the same clarity in writing English as I would have in my mothertongue to reply the way I wish to, but between knowing that you're a history enthusiast (like me) and that the story touched you and will stay with you even after the game ended I'm on cloud nine ;\\\\; and also I'm glad you liked the behind the scenes too! Sometimes I go and update them with more stuff through devlogs (here) or updates (in game). And yes, there are some secrets *ominous music* too but I think you'll catch up to them pretty soon x3
Hello Hae! Aww thank you, I'm glad you like it >\\\< It's right before the Queen's Chamber when you exit the tunnels, it's the empty room with the solitary pile of rocks

Hello! This game is truly incredible, amazing work!
I am currently stuck trying to figure out how to lay the trap, I've sent out the morse code message but haven't been able to find the right place for the paint. Am I overlooking something? What can I do?
Hi Dervorguilla, thank you so much ;\\\;
The paint is located on Floor one, in the upper right room next to the elevator, it's the one with the seismometer. Check the crack in the wall in the upper left corner and you will find the passage! Let me know if you need any help
Sorry- I should've phrased my question better, I was able to find the paint, I just can't figure out where to use it. Thank you so much for your help!!
Go back to the queen's room, there will be a star on the ground signaling the right spot uwu
I really love this game but can't get past the first constellation puzzle, any tips?
Hi Camie, thank you!
I made a screenshot of the stars you have to press and deselect here:
https://sta.sh/01un1bm1lof5
Let me know if you need any help!
Thank You!
Good thing this game have:
- Short horror game, 2 hours to 4 if you do 100%
- Really interesting puzzles like morse code, astrology, etc...
- 8 Endings
- Very good drawings for CGs
- Like, A LOT of optional text you can read for more lore or humor scenes
You should try it ^^
I really love the game!! but I can't finish it, can someone help me with the Omion constelation code..? I'm kinda lost
Hi Mui! I'm glad you like the game so far >\\\<
I made a screenshot of the stars you have to press and deselect here!
https://sta.sh/01un1bm1lof5
Let me know if you need any help!
Thank you !! (Sorry for the late reply !)
this is such a cool game, omg!! hoping to see more works from you, you are very sweet
Hi Alex! Oh my, thank you >\\\\<
I'm working on a new game (called Rule of Salt) it'll take a while but I hope you'll like it! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp!
This game is amazing, I enjoyed the story and the background of the characters, plus, the true ending is beautiful! You can see the love that Banya put into the game, I really recommend playing it.
Hello Shira_911, thank you for playing and commenting! I'm really happy that you liked and that the love I poured into the game (even with the morbid subject) showed! ;\\\\;
I'd love to see the art btw, if you want to share it!
that was crazy, got like 3 bad endings b4 the true one tho, was super fun i defiantly recommend to anyone thinking about playing
Hi Zz_boba! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp >w<
Glad to hear you had fun and enjoyed even if you had to pass through three bad endings! I'm kind of curious to know which ones you got, were they on the final choice (last room)?
i dont remember all of them 😭 my favorite one tho was death by honey, that execution always intrigued me and to see it in a game was super fun :DD
Thank you so muchhhh!!! :3
Hi Sam! Here is my savefile, you just have to put it in the folder "save":
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lsKdmkoQ7eY5RryfwUQgxFp1k1u-zgOU/view?usp=shari...
It's just before entering that room, let me know if it works!
I’m really happy I found this game and got to play it^^
Hi NV54! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp >w<
Hearing that it was my game that had you try multiple endings for the first time makes me proud, I'm glad you liked it and enjoyed the lore behind it too! If I may ask, did you get all seven? Which one did you get first? Thank you again ;\\\;
I'm currently developing a new game, I hope it won't disappoint!
i enjoyed this game so much, thank you banya!
Hi Hellhero0! Thank you for playing it ;\\\; I'm glad you liked it!
hello banya! i absolutely adore emerald wasp for it's complex plotline that all connects together AMAZINGLY.
just a question- what are the characters' full names??
Hi Aerens! Thank you so much for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad to hear that you liked it >\\\\<
I'm so relieved to hear that the plotlines connect well ahah!
I apologize for the late reply ;w; thank you so much for playing my game >\\\<
I didn't expect that effect on that scene, I have to admit ahah!
But I truly recommend
Hi ArAr! Thank you so much for your kind words ;\\\\;
(I apologize for the late reply, it got lost in the feed)
You probably had already solved it by now, but many players got stuck on that one... it's not a URL though, you have to decipher it first (same means as the one in the bonus room)
I wish there was a steam version :O I played the game about a week ago on itch and really enjoyed it :>
Hi Dancingdarling!
Hi Nixluna! I apologize for the late reply ;__;
I wanted to thank you both for playing Emerald Wasp and for leaving your comment, it made me really happy... I couldn't put a finger on it, but weird characters who do not fit in is the perfect description for them and knowing that somehow I make them work is so cool!
Thank you again ;\\\\;
Hello and thank you for playing >\\\<
Unfortunately I'm aware about that bug but I'm not able to fix it atm, I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
As for the lenght did you find the secrets...? There are... things... hidden in the game, I can give you a hint!
Last week was the game first anniversary and I made a
riddlespecial video for it:i really liked this game but sometimes when i used the flashlight it kinda fucked up me moving around and also near the end when i would try to go back down the stairs or a ladder the screen would go black and i would have no choice but to just go up but its still a very good game and i will be playing the other ones you put out
One of the best games I've ever played!!
Will definitely stay tuned for upcoming releases!
Hi Notleander! I wish I could convey in English how surprised and honored I am to read your message ;\\\\;
I'm flattered, really! And I'm so happy to hear that you liked the game so much, and that I'm one of your favorite devs! This is something that, to an indiedev like me, still look incredible to read and it made my day ;\\\\;
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I SAW THAT YOU REPLIED AHSHAHEBQHAH so that's the sensation a fan has when their idol actually responds -* _ *-
WE WILL BE HONORED TO HAVE YOUR HELP! my partner answered to you there, right? as soon as possible we'll be all talking about the project together, I am soooo happy to know that you are willing to guide us, you're simply the best!
xoxo!! <3 💞
Also, i love the detail that Archie is Italian
RAAHHH!!!!!! ITALY MENTIONED!!!!
Ciao Bomber Pigeon!
where's the secret ending where leon and archie kiss /j
lmao xD might add another cipher for this in the future!
getting this reply was the equivalent of using an ouija board and getting an actual response from a demon /pos
I dont know will reply if I get more info on what his job is.
ok yep I was right ( I think) but OMG the true ending almost made me cry. You know what? I did cry. So wholesome.... I loved this game alot and even though I just watched another person play it it was still so heartbreaking and beutiffual at once.(Sorry for misspellings)
Oooh >\\\< I'm really happy that you like it!
And that the wholesome vibe was a good ending for a game like this <3
Hi La1n370wo!
(OMG sorry for replying so late) But thank you so much for the explamation! Some of the stuff in this game can be a bit confusing but yeah! ;/////;
But I have a bunch of theories that I want to share with you but I think im gonna put it in a sperate comment!
(Also when is Rule of Salt coming out? Also is it gonna be in the same universe as Emerald Wasp? That would be cool.
(Italy mentioned, so...)
Hi Chimera! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp, I'm glad yo hear you're liking it so far >\\\<
About the black screen: are you playing it on Mac, right? In that case, are you using the Mac version or the PC version on Wine?
(I'm searching for a solution for the error)
I'm not a Mac user so I chose the PC version.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience ;__;
Did a bit of research, it's apparently due to a save file malfunctioning. What happens if you load a previous one and go through the scene?
If it doesn't work please tell me which choices you did \ how many medals you have, so I can make a savefile past that scene and send it to you... I'm sorry, it's the first time ever that this particular error occurs ;w;
Not sure what you mean by choices? Like Archie dialogue choices (be nice to him) and not poking the skull? I have 12 medals.
Yes, that! I'm preparing the savefile, is it ok if I link it on my google drive?
Such a good game, absolutely loved it! After playing Deep inside i wanted to check your other games, and i fell in love with Emerald Wasp. Loved the puzzles, the exploration and the characters, Archie being italian is my fav thing lol. Also the lore was a bit confusing, I only understood like a quarter of it, must be cause I have a very low attention span tbh but i got lost in a lot of points :'), guess I'll watch a complete gameplay or wait for someone to do an explanation video on yt lmao.
I heard you're working on a new game, can't wait to play it!! ^^
Hello Graz, and thank you ;\\\\;
This is like a Xmas gift to me, I'm so happy that you liked it!
Anche tu? Ora capisco perché! Ma mi fa davvero piacere questo, anche per il discorso ace ;\\\\;
Penso non avrai problemi allora, il portoghese per noi è facile da capire!
Thank you for the explanation.
Hi Kaye! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp and leaving a comment ;\\\;
I'm really happy to hear that you liked it!
Hi Hikaru! Thank you for playing Emerald Wasp!
Thank you for your message!
Hello Cryptid!
I gasped when I saw the comment and I just finished watching the video ;\\\\;
First of all, I wanted to thank you for playing and recording the game, I enjoyed watching you play it a lot! And also I wish I had more mastery of the English language to convey emotion more than a simple thank you, but I watched it all and all the enthusiasm, the reactions and the kind words mean a lot to me! I'm really glad that you liked the game so much and it makes me happy to see that you were so invested ;\\\\;
(And in this case... even though it's unsettling stuff, there are some things you missed I can hint you in DMs if you want to)
Dev-wise I can say I feel understood in the little choices and directions I made for the game, even though there are needed fixes (the BRIDGE)! And yes, I will be making another long RPG maker horror, but I'm at the early stages still, stay tuned!
Again, thank you so much! ;\\\\;
PS if you want you can rate the game, it'd help with visibility!
Aaah! Thank you for watching ;-;
It really was an incredibly fun game!
Even if there do need to be a few little fixes, it was overall an excellent game (that I will probably play again purely for fun at some point!)
I'm so excited for your next project, too!
❤ I hope more people see this awesome game!)
I love Brasil too and this is so good to hear T\\\T
If you want to you can rate the game too, it'd help to make it more visible for other players too!
Hi Hiro! I didn't expect this and it was such a nice surprise ;\\\\;
I apologize for the late reply, but it took me a while to compose myself again aha!
Thank you again, Hiro! ;\\\\;
Great work Banya-san!!
Thank you Violette ;\\\\; I'm glad you liked the game!

Hello Hae! Aww thank you, I'm glad you like it >\\\<
It's right before the Queen's Chamber when you exit the tunnels, it's the empty room with the solitary pile of rocks
